Bringing together global researchers, engineers, and industry pioneers to shape the future of micro-optics, metamaterials, and quantum photonic systems during Stockholm’s Midsummer season.
The International Conference on Optical MEMS and Nanophotonics (OMN) is the flagship international conference dedicated to micro-optical electro-mechanical systems and nano-scale photonic phenomena.
OMN held its first edition in 1996 and has established itself as the flagship conference in the field for the past 30 years.
In June 2027, Stockholm welcomes the international scientific community to foster interdisciplinary discussions, unveil groundbreaking research, and establish strategic collaborations across optics, MEMS, and materials science.
The IEEE Transducers and OMN conferences share a conference venue in 2027 and run in parallel. Attendees of either conference have full access to both programs, and the attendance fees are the same for both. However, social event registration and payment are handled individually for each event, and certain events may be open only to attendees of one of the conferences. The OMN submission deadline comes after the Transducers author notification and thus work already accepted to Transducers will not be considered for OMN. (The Transducers program chair serves on the OMN TPC, and vice versa.)
